Armpit to armpit measurement: 55cm.

Sweatshirt base base is 80% Cotton, 20% Polyester. The interrupted fabric is deadstock from our archives and some newly sourced , featuring a mix of custom prints by Matty, and found prints, these vary from 100% cotton, to a polyester spandex.

International Customs & Duties Policy

1. Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) – Default for Matty Bovan

Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, all international orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.

• Customer Responsibility: You are the "Importer of Record" and are responsible for paying all local import duties, VAT/GST, and customs clearance fees required by your country’s regulations.

• Payment Process: Your local customs office or courier (e.g., Royal Mail, DHL, or UPS) will contact you directly to collect these fees before the parcel is released for delivery.

• Refusal of Delivery: If you refuse to pay these charges and the item is returned to us, we will deduct any return shipping fees and administrative costs from your final refund.

Because our items are one-offs please read our policy below regarding returns and refunds. 

UK & International "Change of Mind" Returns

• 14-Day Window: You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify us of your intent to return it. You then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.

• Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached. We reserve the right to reduce your refund if the item's value has been diminished by unreasonable handling.

3. Return Shipping & Costs

• Responsibility: Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

• Original Delivery: We will refund the cost of our standard outgoing delivery if you return your entire order. If you chose an express or international premium option, only the standard rate will be refunded.

• 3. International Returns & Customs Marking

To ensure a smooth refund process, all international returns must follow these customs instructions:

• Marking the Package: You must clearly mark the outside of your package and the customs declaration form as "RETURNED GOODS - RELIEF CLAIMED".

• Why this matters: This prevents the UK HMRC from incorrectly charging us import duties to receive the item back.

• Deductions: If a return is not marked correctly and we are charged import duties, these costs will be deducted from your refund.

4. Faulty Items

If an item is faulty or not as described, you have a 30-day right to reject it for a full refund, including all shipping costs. Please contact us immediately at  studio@mattybovan.com with photos of the fault.
